The Vital Skill for the Future: Cultivating Clear Energy 💎
Years ago, I was a few months into my fledging personal microdosing practice and taking a walk on one of my favorite nature trails. Up in the distance I could see a father & son walking toward me on the trail, and as they got closer I could see the son was on the autism spectrum. The father's face was impatient and unsmiling as he marched through the forest several yards ahead of his son.
When we were about to cross paths on a narrow stretch of trail, I stepped aside to give them clear passage. The father barely nodded at me as he strode past, but the son stopped and stepped toward me, put his arms around me in an embrace, his head against my chest. I reflexively put my arms around him, and we stood there silently for a moment. The father turned to look back, his eyes widened.
As the father walked back to where we were standing, I said "it's okay, it's okay," waving him off lest he try to pull his son away. Instead, he looked incredulous and said: "You don't understand. He doesn't let anyone touch him. He doesn't like to be touched."
Tears came into my eyes and a flood of tender compassion and grace ran through my heart - THIS is the medicine, spirit whispered.
Microdosing with earth medicines can be so gentle - so subtle - that’s it’s normal to wonder in the beginning if it’s really doing anything much. But time after time moments like this capture us and we know THIS is the medicine - delivering the magic into everyday life - with its deft, wise, humble, and undeniable way.
Earth Medicine practice assists us in cultivating clean, clear energy - bringing our energetic frequency into balance, shining a bright light on where we’re out of alignment, and helping us to dissolve density, heaviness, and the resonance of fear and scarcity. This is why the most sensitive beings on the planet: wild & winged animals, our pets, babies and young children, and highly sensitive neurodivergent individuals are the very first to notice the shift in our energy.
Once people begin microdosing, people report their pets are more affectionate and want to be closer to them more often. Babies’ eyes seek you out in a crowd and lock into eye contact with you. Children will single you out to interact with. Wild animals and birds will come to you, remain in your presence fearlessly, as if you are one of them. (And you are!)
To me, this cultivation of clean, clear energy is one of the most important rituals, practices and endeavors we can embrace in this exact moment of human history. We are - rapidly now - moving from a heavy, physically-oriented being to a lighter, more energetically-oriented being. In the years ahead we’re all going to be witnesses - real-time - as Homo sapiens branch off into different forms of humans… and only one will ultimately survive long-term.
Developing our consciousness, lightening our frequency, shedding heaviness, density, fear and control/dominator narratives from our lives contributes and begins to cultivate a very different future than the one we are experiencing the final throes of. With this lighter, cleaner energy we can communicate, create, express and relate to one another very differently than we do presently. Our culture can move from one of extraction, authority, greed, and power-over to one of sovereign interdependence, freedom, mutual respect and sustaining abundance for the planet and all its kingdoms.
It all begins with our individual and collective energy. 💎

As we come to know ourselves more deeply, we can begin to see the world and all other beings more clearly. We can see. Anticipate. Respond. Adapt. Intuit. Know when to move. Innately know how to flow with the rhythm of life.
