Foundations for Healing

One of my very favorite aspects of earth medicine practice is how it’s bringing people from all over the world together in caring community.

“Who seems to benefit most by microdosing?" What qualities, activities, and mindset set the stage for meaningful transformation? Here are my TOP FIVE

1 - Humility: A spirit & mindset of openness & willingness to embrace the wise intelligence of ritual, divine forces, and the natural world. People who step into practice with a willingness to be vulnerable and re-orient themselves toward their instinct, inner compass, and intuition.

2 - Commitment: A full-spirited commitment to their path. From the moment I first meet certain participants, I can FEEL a commitment and presence in them that runs soul-deep. It's as if their heart is saying "I may not know quite where I'm going, but I KNOW it's nowhere I've been." They are devoted to their practice & unfolding path.

3 - Surrender: A willingness to surrender to the experience of growth & healing, and stick with it through all its rapids, lulls, still calm... mud, silt, and crystal clarity. Someone who forms & holds their vision & intention with gentle strength & an open hand, leaving room for wise-timing, divine intervention and a bit of magic.

4 - Supportive Embodiment & Energy Practices: Movement practices like yoga, surfing , dance, freehand writing, qi gong, swimming, reiki, massage, painting, hiking, and acupuncture have a strong synergistic effect with microdosing practice, one enhancing the other.

5 - Willingness to do "The Inner Work" - The Hero's Journey. Warrior's Work. Vision Quest. Medicine work will shine a light on our shadows, summon what was once lost toward reclamation, and raise those parts of us in need of healing to the surface to be integrated & healed. Entering into medicine practice is stepping valiantly into the arena of remodeling and remembering who we are, & how we are meant to serve in this lifetime.

Over & again I have witnessed how spirit showers its golden gifts over those who fully step into the work & embrace it all: sun and shadows, grief and joy... dedicating themselves to their growth - mind, body and spirit. Humbleness. Commitment. Surrender. Supporting the Process. Meeting the Medicine. In my experience, embracing these qualities will light your path.
