Coming Out of the Spiritual Closet ✨
✨ In my coaching calls & conversations with clinicians, therapists, physicians and other wellness professionals lately, one of the topics many have been bringing up is how to merge their 'spiritual side' with their 'professional side.'
Many of them have been experiencing a growing connection to their spirituality and the role intuition and instinct is playing in their practice... and at the same time are chafing working within the modern confines of fifteen minute appointments and inability to connect more than superficially with their clients. Is it 'safe' they wonder, to come out of the 'spiritual closet?'
Simultaneously I have been seeing a similar phenomenon across my client intakes & program participants as well - in the course of microdosing, many begin to connect to their innate spiritual gifts. And with this, life takes on an entirely new dimension in perspective, understanding, meaning and purpose.
Many of you know that tornadoes blew across my small island home in Florida last week🌪️ and my neighborhood was particularly devastated (thank you for all of your messages & care!)
The experience was such a beautiful reminder that in these volatile, transitional times it's so important to develop a steadfast connection to source... whatever that means to you. I had the unique experience of witnessing a tornado very-close-up while sealed in my laundry room, with my dog clutching me tightly around my neck. Through the fold in the door I could see the funnel just outside my office window, right where I sit on all of our calls together! In that moment I closed my eyes and reminded my spirit guide that she'd promised to protect me always in a bargain we'd made back in 2020.
I heard her reply in my mind in her matter of fact way: And I will. And with that I opened my eyes and was able to witness the incredible power, the forces of earthly creation & destruction, the majestic ineffable beauty of nature - eyes wide open - without fear. Just wonder, and gratitude, and a depth of trust that definitely surprised me. The experience was a beautiful lesson and reminder that the more we work to dispel and release fear, the more we open ourselves to divine connection, trust and faith in the magic of life.
I believe that nurturing our personal spirituality - our connection to God/Goddess, our angels & guides, our ancestors and loved ones in other realms - will be a vital well of strength for us to draw upon in the coming years. A quiet, deep-rooted faith that lives within each of us that is unwavering, timeless and untouched by this modern world.
If you are drawn to earth medicine practice to develop your spirituality, you are welcome. If you have blossoming spiritual gifts, we support you in nurturing, developing and protecting them. And if you already possess divine gifts, it's time to claim them. 💥
