Bringing the Magic Back into Modern Life 🌠
One of my very favorite parts of our immersion experience is witnessing the way each participant calls the next in… watching spirit weave its magic in how each group comes together so uniquely. While I attend to the human-world organization of creating the structure - the dates, times and outlines of the immersion container - I’ve learned to lean back and let spirit lead when it comes to the wise weaving of souls & the divine timing of this work. An old proverb claims: ‘Begin to weave, and Spirit will provide the thread’ — with each group I witness this magical truth.
I believe part of the restlessness and boredom, the cynicism and jadedness many people are expressing in this modern moment is due to the over-humanizing of our world - we humans tend to center ourselves in all scenarios, and go to exhausting lengths to control our reality according to our own needs and preferences and schedules. And while that keeps the machine of industry going and a vise grip on our illusory control, this way of living has trampled so much of the beauty & magic inherent in life - the serendipities, the coincidences, the lucky chances, and nature’s clever communication - under its efficient, monotonous, institutionalized march.
Nature & spirit have taught me that if we are to tap back into the magic of life we need to go to her: to slow our pace, relax our rhythm, unwind our bodies & minds, create spaciousness, embrace stillness and - hardest of all for some of us - surrender and give up control over outcomes. The more I bring my full dedication, devotion and trust to the world while leaving space for spirit & nature to bring its partnership, the more I am rewarded with the often breath-taking magic, wise creation, quantum entanglement, and supreme intelligence of a power older than time. It is the very thing we humans most resist: chaos, unpredictability, the novel & unknown - that re-opens the door to our magic, fate & destiny.
In our last immersion program, David and Beth’s applications (real names hidden for privacy) appeared in my inbox within a few hours of one another 🌠. During their individual intake calls with me, I discovered they lived near one another (12 minutes apart to be exact!) When I ran their human design charts, I learned they were nearly exact copies of one another. Now, it’s rare enough to be a Emotional Solar Plexus Projector in this world, but they not only shared that, but also shared the exact profile lines, definition, motivation and more. It turned out they would be in the same intimate cohort together, so I decided not to meddle and just see how things naturally unfurled between them. After learning they lived so close together on our first group call, Beth and David had coffee together a couple weeks into our program — they showed up on the next group call with a smile & story to share. Not only did they have the exact same design chart and live twelve minutes from one another… Beth actually bought David’s house years ago!! So, at separate times in their lives, they shared the same home, energy and environment: quite literally!
What are the chances of such a thing?? Wild, right?! But I see things like this happen now on a very regular basis, things we couldn’t ‘engineer’ even if we tried.
Spirit weaves: People who are meant to meet - meant to be brought together in a lifetime - finally connect. People heed the call to leave the unfulfilling job, walk away from the toxic relationship, or move to a more supportive environment. People release the past, step forward into an empowered future, and as a consequence enjoy the healthiest, most loving and secure relationships of their lives. Spirit finds a way to make it happen if we step onto nature’s path, give ourselves over to a greater power and allow for it. This practical magic and wonder in the every day is always here for us, waiting patiently for us to attune to it. When we elevate our own internal energetic landscape, the architecture of our lives shifts in reflection. Underneath the layers of technology and skyscrapers, shopping malls and video games, there is a long-held secret being shared - one that connects us across time and space and weaves past to future.
All of us have access to this magical, otherworldly, & timeless power, and much of our work in our microdosing practice & programs is to help individuals ‘clear the lens’ of their perception, to decondition from outdated layers of fear and scarcity, to dissolve the density in their body & field, and attain a lighter, higher and more loving vibration & frequency. Just as they do in nature, mushrooms remediate, compost and renew us - allowing us to take forward all that is true, aligned and correct for our spirit and our unique song, while gently giving back to the earth all that no longer serves our evolution.
With practice, commitment and faith, nature gifts us with a remembering… a familiarity… signposts and affirmations along the way through dreams, visions, a-ha’s, deja vus, animal visitations, prophecy, bird messengers — all the things that were once common, long ago when humans were deeply interconnected and interwoven into the fabric of the natural world, alive with feeling, intuition and instinct. Microdosing and mushroom practice are just one - a potent one! - of the many myriad gifts from nature designed to re-awaken us to our sense of wonder, magic and source of creation.
We just opened doors for our Summer Immersion, and spirit is already weaving in her way: sending foxes across the participants’ paths, having three strangers from Iowa apply within hours of each other, my guide already busy whispering to me about each and how she’s going to work with them… opening their ceremony with the unmistakeable forces of nature. I continue to bow to spirit - ever-fascinated, curious, always grateful, and in awe of nature’s wisdom, benevolence and belief in us. Join us and re-discover the magic within. 💗
